The shortest way is the middle one - through Dolenjske Toplice. The road along the green-blue river Krka will take you past the slopes with vineyards and traditional cottages, called ``zidanica``. If you swear on the highway, you can take a road through Novo mesto, and then cross Gorjanci hills. At Semič, the White Carniola plain will open to you. If you like do drive, road through Kočevje is the right option. The highland Kočevski rog is best known as the largest forest in Slovenia, that is the remaining of the old primeval forest Rajhenavski Rog. It is a habitat of several wild animals, such as wolf, lynks and bear.
